Interventional Radiology Nursing
Short Course - 15 credits at SCQF Level 9; ECTS points 7.5
- Review of gross anatomy
- Selective review of interventional procedures
- Urological, vascular, gastrointestinal, cerebral
- Haemodynamic monitoring
- Infection control
- Venous access
- Health and safety
- National, regional and local standards and guidelines
- Characteristics of commonly used medications
- Valid consent
This six month course will be delivered online through our virtual learning environment, CampusMoodle.
This course is assessed through written assignment.
