Develop advanced expertise in the integration of mechanical, electrical and intelligent technologies. This integrated master's course combines mechatronics, electrical machines, advanced control and smart engineering, preparing you to design sophisticated multidisciplinary systems and contribute to the next generation of automated, electrified and intelligent technologies.
Progress from core mechanical and electrical engineering principles to advanced study of integrated and smart engineering systems. You will develop analytical, design and professional skills through practical work and substantial engineering projects, alongside Master's-level study in reliability and sustainable engineering leadership. The Fast-Track route adds compulsory summer industrial placements and advanced study, allowing you to gain professional experience while progressing towards integrated Master's-level engineering practice.
The first two years are common across our Mechanical Engineering courses. At the end of Year 2, you can make an informed decision about which route you wish to take.
