BA (Hons) Three Dimensional Design

The BA (Hons) Three Dimensional Design degree at Robert Gordon University will provide you with the opportunity to explore the disciplines of product design, ceramics and glass, and jewellery design through research, development and innovation in materials and processes.

You will experience traditional making skills and techniques whilst broadening your knowledge of advanced digital design and fabrication methods.

You will explore methods of design thinking and making skills including 3D modelling and Adobe CAD training, design drawing and visualisation, ceramics, glass, metalwork and rapid prototyping in plastics and metal. The course will also provide you the opportunity to participate in industry-linked projects, design internships, live competitions and public facing events, which will ensure you are ready for the world of work.

At the start of Year 3, you will make an informed decision to specialise in Product Design, Ceramics and Glass or Jewellery Design.
