Summary
The same applies to the increased call for the integration of responsible management education in HEIs; it is a global agenda championed by the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) initiative, supported by the United Nations. Therefore, the proposed study will seek to extend a previous study (Ndubuka 2020) which found that the Research Excellence Framework (REF) had negative effects (direct and indirect) on the implementation of responsible management education in UK business schools through the six principles of PRME, albeit with the potential to act as a core enabler for its advancement. The focus in the new study will be on research assessment framework(s) in business schools in countries other than the UK.
Research Question
What is the possible influence of X (including but not limited to the ERA, PBRF and FOKUS) on the integration of responsible management education in Y (including but not limited to Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, etc) business schools/HEIs.
