The study will examine governance mechanisms in the UK, Australia, Hungary and Singapore, assessing if current regulations support or hinder charities in achieving their declared purposes. This research will contribute to the body of knowledge by providing a novel, comparative legal analysis of "public benefit" and “charity regulations” and will propose a governance model that supports both compliance and public trust.
Methods will include doctrinal and comparative legal analysis, policy review, and stakeholder interviews.
