As a student nurse I have broadened my horizons and opened up my career options, and I’ve done this at age 37, so it’s NEVER too late to follow your dreams and fulfil career paths you never ever imagined you could.
You will develop beyond your wildest aspirations and become the best possible nursing version of yourself and that’s a pretty amazing feeling!
My placement to Orkney was an opportunity that many other universities were unable to offer. I was excited at the thought of learning how healthcare operates on an island, especially working as part of an ambulance crew.
