Autoregulation of sprint interval training
Research Opportunities
Summary
To date, this has primarily focussed on use within resistance-based training but may be well suited to application within other training modalities. Sprint interval training (SIT) has been shown to be a novel, time efficient training modality for improving aerobic performance in an array of individuals. However, the impact of overload and progression during SIT training is currently unknown. Therefore, this PhD would investigate the effect of autoregulation during SIT.
