Here at RGU we believe talented individuals should be encouraged and supported to achieve their ambitions, regardless of their background or economic circumstances.
As part of our continued commitment to widening access to Scottish students, we encourage applications from applicants living within a SIMD20 postcode.
We offer a welcome pack for qualifying widening access students:
Each entrant is entitled to £200 worth of vouchers that can be spent as they choose on a selection of items:
- Grocery vouchers
- Amazon vouchers
- Book vouchers
- Electronic items (headphones, hard drive, printer)
- Course-specific expenses
Welcome Packs have been made available as part of the University's commitment to widening participation, and are only available to Scottish domiciled, undergraduate entrants, who have been identified as meeting our widening access criteria:
- Individuals whose home postcodes at point of application are within SIMD20 areas; or
- Care experienced individuals, including residential, foster or kinship care
- Estranged Students
Applicants who meet our widening access criteria will also be invited to apply for an Access RGU Scholarship
