The Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre (DHI) Scotland funding and scholarship initiatives are part of a wider national effort to transform how health and social care services are designed, delivered, and experienced. As one of Scotland’s flagship Innovation Centres, DHI plays a pivotal role in supporting cutting‑edge ideas that combine technology, data, and human-centred design to solve real healthcare challenges. Through its funding streams, including Master’s scholarships and innovation project funding, DHI aims to build a strong talent pipeline while accelerating impactful solutions in areas such as digital therapeutics, AI-driven healthcare, and patient-centred systems.

Other Requirements
To be considered for these scholarships, applicants must:
- Be a British citizen, an EU citizen with Settled Status, or hold indefinite leave to remain status
- Have been a resident in the UK for at least the last three years (proof may be required)
- Be an ordinary resident in Scotland when starting the course
- Have received an offer to undertake the MSc Business Analytics for Healthcare Management degree
- For MRes students, have written a research proposal of no more than 1,500 words
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted by your course leader. Eligible students should work closely with their course organiser who will use the DHI scholarship administration form to apply. For MRes students, a research proposal of no more than 1,500 words is required.
