Overview

The International Fund has been set up to assist international students who, since starting their course, unexpectedly find themselves in financial difficulty.

It is accepted that all students have some financial difficulty, but given the limited nature of the Fund, it will only be possible to assist those in most financial difficulty.

Other Requirements

Students must be a current international or EU student.

Students are not eligible if they are in financial difficulty due to funding being available in their home country and are having problems having the funds transferred to them, or students who have had a delay in receiving funds from a sponsor. Students in these circumstances will be eligible for an Emergency Loan which they can repay when they receive their funding.

Application forms and all supporting documentation must be uploaded to AskRGU.

Closing date for applications for session 2022-23 is Wednesday 12 June 2024. Applications received after this date will not be considered. Applications can take up to 4-6 weeks to be considered.
