Overview

The scholarship covers up to 300,000 MXN (Mexican pesos) in tuition costs per year for MSc and PhD programmes, plus a £770 per month stipend (during the whole duration of the programme) in living expenses costs and an additional one time £150 for medical insurance (NHS surcharge), giving students a unique opportunity to study overseas.

Students are not required to pay this money back, however they are required to return to work in Mexico after their period of study.

Students must:

  • have a ‘promedio’ of 8.0
  • meet the English language requirements and the entry requirements to the chosen postgraduate course at RGU
  • have an offer to study at RGU before applying to CONACyT 

How to Apply

Students should first apply to RGU and get an offer to study your chosen course.

Apply to CONACYT for funding with your Offer Letter.

CONACyT may require a bespoke offer letter from the University, which can be arranged by contacting Mario Avila Flores or Email International Enquiries

Once you have received your funding letter from CONACYT simply submit this to Robert Gordon University, we will issue you with a CAS allowing you to apply for a Study Visa.
