This short course will enable you to extend your scope of practice to include the use of injection therapy. This course is designed to enable you to develop an understanding of the key competencies relating to injection therapy including clinical knowledge, decision-making, pharmacology and the evidence base.
This module has been designed in collaboration with NHS and specialist practitioners.
This will be a visit to an anatomy lab to practice needling technique on cadavers, as well as developing problem-solving skills.

This course is completed through independent study. It is expected that you will spend a minimum of 120 hours study over the duration of the module, including the preparation and submission of your assessment. Your academic tutor will be there to support you through the module..
