Our building contains three IT suites, with all teaching spaces having an abundance of network points along with WiFi coverage. This allows students to work online in very flexible ways, whilst also giving ready access to industry standard software through the labs on very high spec hardware with excellent graphics capability. Specialist applications available include Building Information Modelling software (e.g. REVIT, ArchiCAD), AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp and building performance test equipment with many others, including analytical packages also available.
In our main computer teaching lab, all 50 work stations are equipped with double screens. The two IT zones on levels 4 and 5 have 12 – 16 work stations and there are also computers in the studios and base rooms, all of which give access to our School’s full suite of software applications.
