The impact of procurement practices on infrastructure in developing countries
Research Opportunities
Summary
Projects such as roads, bridges, transportation, and healthcare infrastructure development dominate government programmes every year. However, there is evidence that many of these projects suffer from cost overrun, delays and dispute as a result of poor procurement practices.
An investigation into current procurement practices in developing countries and how that impacts project success will provide insight into how procurement law can contribute to project success in these jurisdictions.
