This research aims to explore the influence of neocolonialism on corporate governance practices in the Global South and argue for the divergence from Western corporate governance models to frameworks that better suit these regions' unique socio-economic and cultural contexts.
Case studies of specific countries and global corporations in the global south will be used to illustrate the impact of neo-colonial practices on their corporate governance.
