Indeed, Physiotherapy is also top in the UK while Midwifery and Biomedical Sciences is second and third in the UK for career prospects respectively.

Professor Steve Olivier, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of RGU, welcomed the latest results: “These results in teaching and student satisfaction are just reward for the hard work of our staff who each strive to accomplish our strategic mission of transforming people and communities.

“This is achieved through a level of commitment that is mirrored throughout our institution to provide an excellent teaching, learning and student experience, as evidenced in some fantastic subject specific results too. I’m also delighted that many of our courses feature so prominently for successful graduate outcomes as we strive to help our students become global citizens.

“The good news arrives on the weekend when new and returning students will be back in Aberdeen preparing for Freshers and their new, or even first, semester here. On behalf of our entire University community, we hope you all enjoy the weeks and months ahead at RGU.”

The Guardian University Guide 2024 results follows a strong recent run of rankings for the University. The latest NSS placings scored RGU at 82.4% overall satisfaction which was followed up by the Times Higher Education (THE) which placed RGU second in Scotland and in the top 10 in the UK for student satisfaction.

Earlier in the year, the Complete University Guide 2024 marked RGU as Scotland’s highest climbers and again in the UK’s top 10 for student satisfaction. Many courses were also graded top in Scotland for both graduate prospect measures and student satisfaction.
