Why did you choose RGU?
RGU is the only university which focuses on Drilling and Well Engineering courses and has a drilling simulator for delivering live experiences.
Why did you choose the course you are studying?
The course provides interdisciplinary exposure which covers a lot of my interests in various fields.
What are your favourite things about being a student in Aberdeen?
Student life is always fun and challenging. The warmth and care everyone shows towards the international student to make them comfortable with the place is really overwhelming.
Have you been involved in any clubs or societies while at RGU? If so tell us a little bit about it
A one year course does not actually give you a lot of time to join clubs/societies but I am involved with RGU:TV which helped me learn on broadcasting and other media activities.
Do you have any advice for people who are considering study at RGU?
It is a fairly good choice if you are looking to take a step ahead in your career and obtain some practical industry knowledge.
What do you want to do when you complete your course?
Immediate objective after completing the course is to get back in the industry for a more competitive position. The course shall put me in better position than other candidates and also will help in Chartered Engineer program which I plan to pursue in future.
