What attracted you to your course at RGU?

While searching for the best university for my chosen course, my key decision factors were ranking and location. This helped me narrow down my option to RGU as the best option for me, as beyond its location and world class facilities, RGU is also ranked top in Scotland in Graduate Employability, boasting good job fairs.

The location of the university in Aberdeen is also at an impressive site.

Before coming to RGU, what was your expectation of it - and how has the reality been?

Before coming to RGU, I was working as a Digital Marketing Manager, while working I identified the need to polish my skills and knowledge. So, I started searching for a suitable UK university which had good rankings for my chosen course, employability outcomes and available facilities. Before arriving in Aberdeen, I was a little nervous about settling in, culture shock and how Aberdonians would treat me, a foreign student.

I realise now that I did not need to worry so much, as beyond the awesome offerings at RGU, the city of Aberdeen has welcomed me with warm, open arms. The polite, helpful, and multicultural nature of the city makes me feel right at home.

What's the best thing about being an RGU student?

The best thing about being an RGU Student is the pride I have in studying at such an awesome university in Scotland, with impressive graduate employability ratios, teaching quality, and modern facilities.

Describe your favourite memory of RGU so far?

I have so many favourite memories in RGU, from the time spent with all the nice friends I made, as well as my teachers who have been extremely supportive and ensuring I get the best educational experience. In addition to the many university events and fairs, it is evident that the university does so much for students to succeed and become impactful change agents in their careers/ future.
