Glory - Queer Cabaret

Look Again at Gray’s School of Art is organising a cabaret in partnership with Aberdeen Performing Arts, RGU’s Art & Heritage Collections, and Outer Spaces as part of an innovative project to amplify the voice of queer artists in Aberdeen.

The pool of talents will include visual artists, musicians, poets, drag and cabaret performers who have been tasked to find inspiration from artefacts found in RGU’s Art & Heritage Collections.

Graduates from Gray’s School of Art will be performing, including the collaborative duo “Olive & Anya”, who will poke fun at gender constructs relating to fashion, as well as Graduate in Residence Miriam Foy, who will present a mixture of spoken word poetry and performance art to celebrate neurodivergent queer identities.

Everyone is welcome to attend, there is no dress code, just come as you are! The show will start at 20:00 but the doors will be open from 19:00 onwards. Tickets are £13.20 each, or £8.80 for concessions.
