Engage is a new creative development programme designed at Gray’s School of Art and delivered in our purpose-built studios and workshops.
Our new Creative Development Programme will launch this autumn and has been created in response to your feedback.
It is designed to support both beginners' interests in art and design, alongside continued professional development for those seeking to enhance their skillsets and expertise.
Delivered by experienced practitioners and alumni of the school, our creative development programme will start with both an online and physical portfolio building course.
Our new rolling programme will deliver a range of weekend activity and evening provision in the New Year and will begin with a series of Art Weekenders.
Engaging with our community, our exciting new programme will invite both local practitioners and graduates from Gray’s School of Art to deliver a series of Art Weekenders.
During these weekend sessions you will engage with an experienced practitioner who will provide assistance and guidance through their own knowledge and expertise in a specialist subject area. Not only will you create your own tangible outcomes, you will improve your skills in a creative discipline whilst also becoming part of a collective of like-minded creatives.
Our Art Weekenders will bring together a number of creatives, experiencing a range of different disciplines and delivery methods across the school. Disciplines will range from Ceramics, Jewellery, Textiles, Photography, Printmaking, Painting, Drawing and more.
We're keen to ensure that our young creatives are also supported, so our new programme will encompass our Young Art School designed for 11-15 year olds.
Whilst we continue to develop our new programme, we are very excited to welcome you back.
