With a proud record of graduate employability we are now taking another evolutionary step to create a vibrant Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystem. Our objective is to prepare the university and the wider community for the innovation economy, diversifying the economy of the North East.

Startup Accelerator

The RGU Startup Accelerator offers teams of students, staff or alumni access to a five-month, mentor-led development programme as well as seed funding and incubation space to turn creative ideas into viable, high-growth businesses.

Supporting Entrepreneurship

RGU is preparing students for jobs that may not exist today, including self-employment, creating startups or developing spin outs. We support staff, students and alumni prepare for the future through a range of initiatives. Our aim is to democratise entrepreneurship and innovation right across all the academic disciplines, while also extending our offerings to other partners.
