Giving from the USA
Alumni and friends based in the USA who would like to make a donation to support RGU can do so through the British Schools and Universities Foundation. Please ensure that you express a preference for “The RGU Foundation” or “Robert Gordon University” when asked.
Supporting RGU through your business can be beneficial to your company. Companies will receive tax relief when they support a UK charity by deducting the amount given from profits and paying less corporation tax. For more information on corporate giving:
Leaving a gift in your will
Generous benefactions have marked transformational stages in RGU’s history and your support could play a role in our future. Legacies to RGU are tax free an in some instances can reduce the tax paid on an estate. To discuss your support please contact Sarah Dingwall via 01224 262039.
The RGU Foundation is registered Scottish charity, No: SC043673. It was established to inspire philanthropy in support of enhancing learning, teaching and research at RGU. It is governed by a board of Trustees whose decisions regarding the expenditure of funds are made independently and in accordance with our constitution.
Donors can expect to receive appropriate and timely acknowledgement for their gifts, and to be kept informed of the impact of their philanthropy. They can be assured that all gifts will be applied for the purpose they were originally given. All information concerning donations will be handled with respect and confidentiality.
