Share Giving

Donations of shares and securities will allow you to claim tax relief on the full market value of your gift, as well as escaping any capital gains tax which would have arisen. Please contact us if you would like to discuss donating shares or securities.

Gifts in Will

As Robert Gordon University is a registered charity, a gift in your will is tax exempt and in most cases will mean that any tax paid on an estate will be reduced. While all discussions concerning your will should be between you and your solicitor, The RGU Foundation would be delighted to hear from you if you are considering donating to the university through your will.
