The Balfour Beatty Access Scholarship is open to full-time undergraduate students who have accepted an offer to study BSc Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management at RGU.

1Overview
The Balfour Beatty Access Scholarship has been made available through the kind donation of Balfour Beatty Construction Ltd to widen access to higher education by providing financial support to a student from groups traditionally under-represented at university.
One scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate student who has been offered and accepted a place to study a BSc Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management degree programme at Robert Gordon University, and can demonstrate financial need, academic merit, motivation and ambition.
The successful student will receive £1,500 + £250 travel = £1,750 per year, for the duration of a four-year undergraduate degree course, plus a one-off Graduation Payment of £250.

Other Requirements
To be eligible for consideration for this scholarship, students must:
- hold a conditional offer for a full-time place on the BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management course at RGU and have on offer for September 2026 entry,
- be Scottish domiciled and classified as a ‘home fees student’,
- have not already obtained a first degree,
- meet RGU’s widening access criteria or have a household income of less than £33,999.
