MSc Energy Geoscience Bursaries 2026
Centre for Masters Training (CMT) and the Geoscience Energy Society of Great Britain (GESGB) are funding twelve bursaries of £6000 per annum to support students undertaking an MSc in Energy Geoscience (or related subject).

2Overview
- Each University with an eligible MSc course will assess their applicants by the cut-off date of 10 April 2026, and select up to two candidates to be put forward for the award.
- The Universities will forward student details (Contact Details and CV), placed in rank order, to the CMT/GESGB for final selection.
- An independent CMT/GESGB panel will then select the final 12 successful candidates.
- Successful students will be contacted by the CMT/GESGB in May 2026.
- Funding will be sent directly to the student within 1 month of registration and commencement of the course.

- Students with a conditional / unconditional offer from any of the RGU’s energy transition-related taught masters’ courses and who are not in receipt of any other award that fully funds the course fees and living expenses.
- Both UK and/or International students are eligible to apply.
