TUITION FEE LOANS

  • the amount of tuition fee loan available does not depend on your household income.
  • tuition fee loans are paid directly to the University.
  • if your course lasts longer than one academic year your tuition fee loan will be split equally across each year of study.

Continuing students who are studying their course over more than one academic year and are therefore splitting their fee loan, will receive an increased fee loan in 2023-24. For example, a student who starts their course in 2022-23 is entitled to a maximum of £2,750 for year 1 and will be entitled to a maximum of £3,500 in year 2.

If your tuition fee amount is more than the maximum loan available to you, you are responsible for making payment of the outstanding amount to the University.

LIVING COST LOANS

The maximum amount available is £4,500.
