Architecture student and swimmer.

What is your sport and position?

Swimming.

What made you pick your sport?

I chose my sport because it challenged me to always try my best and push myself to new limits.

If you didn’t do your sport, what would you do and why?

I would race in formula 1 because I love cars and I enjoy F1.

Why did you choose to study at RGU?

It was close to home while still giving me independence.

How do you think the sport scholar program will help you progress as a student athlete?

It will help me balance my sporting career with my classes, as well as providing me with more opportunities to develop as a student athlete.

What is your greatest sporting achievement?

Winning the north district junior champion in the 800m freestyle.

Who is your sporting role model and why?

Michael Phelps through his commitment and determination for swimming.

What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned from your sport?

Swimming has taught me that as long as you put the time and effort into something, you can achieve results beyond your imagination.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 year’s time I would like to see myself competing at British/International competitions as well as studying for my masters.

Favourite sporting memory?

My favourite sporting memory is getting to compete at my first ever National Meet. It was the biggest competition I had ever competed at and the atmosphere was something to remember.
