What is your sport and position?

Athletics, middle distance running.

What made you pick your sport?

Competing in my primary school cross country race. I enjoyed the race so started running then.

If you didn’t do your sport, what would you do and why?

I would play football, I used to play up until a few years ago.

Why did you choose to study at RGU?

RGU is close to home for me and the physio course is one of the highest ranked courses in the country.

How do you think the sport scholar program will help you progress as a student athlete?

It’ll give me support and help me meet likeminded people.

What is your greatest sporting achievement?

Representing Scotland at the Liverpool Cross challenge in 2024.

Who is your sporting role model and why?

Megan Keith as I was on the same course as her at my previous uni and it’s great to see people you know do so well.

What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learnt from your sport?

Keep going through ups and downs, enjoy it and you will perform better.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Working as a Physio in the NHS and still running track and cross country.

Favourite sporting memory?

In Primary 6 we won the Scottish schools road relays, it was unexpected and the first time I had won anything at a national level.
