What is your sport and position?

Highland dancing.

What made you pick your sport?

My mum & dad put me to a highland class when I was 4 and I’ve been doing it ever since.

Why did you choose to study at RGU?

Due to the opportunities in Aberdeen for both uni and dancing.

How do you think the sport scholar program will help you progress as a student athlete?

I think the workshops will provide me with more knowledge about strength & conditioning, stretching and nutrition which are all key elements to improving myself.

What is your greatest sporting achievement?

Being selected to perform in the Basel Tattoo in Switzerland this summer.

Morgan Bamford.

What's the most valuable lesson you've learned from your sport?

The importance of dedication and hard work.

Favourite sporting memory?

Spending two weeks in Switzerland dancing in the Basel Tattoo.
