Any funded research studentships offered by the University are advertised here.
Studentships are offered only for projects identified by individual Schools or Centres and if successful you will be expected to follow their direction.

A 4-year fully funded PhD project is available to study traumatic injury and acquired bleeding in the laboratory of Dr Gael Morrow.
Funded PhD Studentships are available, commencing February 2025.
If these topics are not suitable, or if you are unsuccessful in any application, you can alternatively self-fund or find another suitable sponsor. The University is unable to help you source third party funding, however there are many external websites that may be useful to help you find alternative funding:

Our Research Degree search also lists potential research topics and supervisors. Use the search and filters to find topics that interests you and once you have selected a suitable topic, use this as a foundation to write your research proposal. If you wish to study a research degree topic not listed, or if you would like to study something similar to a topic covered, you are welcome to submit a speculative application including your own research proposal.
