Nursing - Dual Registration

Nursing - Dual Registration

Our exciting new BSc (Hons) Nursing Dual Registration Programme has been designed to meet local demand for nurses to be registered in two fields of practice.

Our nursing portfolio is underpinned by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) standards for pre-registration nursing education.  In response to recent changes in standards we’re introducing Dual Registration allowing students to specialise in two fields of practice.

What does this mean for you? If embarking on one of our Dual Registration programmes you’ll expand your skillset and academic theory across two disciplines, ideal if you’re not quite sure at this stage which field of nursing is right for you.  You will study over 4 years and graduate with an honours degree.  With knowledge covering two nursing fields you’ll possess skills highly desired by employers.

Upon graduation you will be eligible to register with the NMC as a registered nurse, required if you wish to practice as nurse in the UK, stating your two fields of practice.

You can apply for one of three options:
