The introduction of contractors to RGU premises is necessary to support construction work and to provide infrastructure, equipment, or services to support RGU Events.
The Control of On-Campus Contractors (Services) Procedure is used to manage the interface between the University and construction and event contractors present on campus.
The regulatory and procedural definition of construction work is broad and will often extend to maintenance and servicing activities, in addition to typical building work.
The relevant parts of the procedure should be applied whenever a contractor is engaged for on-campus work.
