Location: Sir Duncan Rice Library, University of Aberdeen, Bedford Road, Aberdeen, AB24 3AA
The State of Energy Transition is an introductory one-day course that examines different energy sources in the context of global climate change and the transition to a low carbon economy.
The course is delivered by senior staff from NESA's partners, the University of Aberdeen, Robert Gordon University, and North East Scotland College and includes a host of high-profile industry speakers.
It is aimed at people working in non-technical roles in energy companies and other interested organisations, and those new or looking to transfer into the energy sector. The course provides an up-to-date picture of energy transition in the UK today and seeks to demystify what energy transition means.
