Location: Gray's School of Art, Garthdee Road, Aberdeen, AB10 7QD

School pupils looking at artwork during a workshop at Gray's School of Art

The Gray’s Degree Show is an annual highlight in the calendar, celebrating the talents and achievements of our final year students. We invite schools to come along to see the exhibition and take part in our schools workshops programme.

Generating Themes For Project Work

Come and see development work from some of our Fine Art and Design students.

All work has been selected to show how ideas are established and developed around a theme. This is a structured workshop where each pupil will have the opportunity to work with a graduating student.

The workshop is aimed at S5/S6 pupils who are starting their Advanced Higher, and for those who are currently identifying a theme of their own to work with.

It is an ideal introduction to the Degree Show, designed to enable students to see the opportunities within their own work too.

Folio Content

Complementary to the S5 and S6 workshops, teachers will have the opportunity to review some development work in our resource room. Gray’s staff will be on hand to discuss the work and how we review portfolio content during our application process.

During this session we will explain the new criteria used to review an entry portfolio.

The application process will also be discussed and we will expand in detail through any questions.
