The Yellow Tulip Project

This innovative, collaborative project explores global mental health and stigma across cultures. This issue requires voices from across the Arctic and across the globe to learn from one another.

Project summary

It Takes a Vital Village: Innovative Approaches to Addressing Global Mental Health and Stigma Across Cultures.

Participants in this innovative project have the opportunity to truly make a difference in our understanding of global mental health. We know that it takes a vital village to make a difference in this important space. Working collectively, the cohort will explore stigma, self- care and other critical issues together. This COIL project is a bit unique as it is a completely voluntary learning opportunity that meets monthly via Zoom. It provides an opportunity to connect with other graduate students from across the Arctic and across the globe to explore innovative solutions to mental health issues. Participants can collectively share their findings with the COIL@UArctic Thematic Network and will have opportunities to publish articles and blog posts.

Project Type

Separate extra-curricular project involving students from one or a number of cohorts.

Duration

Monthly October-April.
