Black History Month (BHM) is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements, contributions and experiences of Black people, while recognising their lasting impact on society, culture and our communities.
Every October, organisations across the UK come together to celebrate Black history, reflect on lived experiences and encourage meaningful conversations about race and inclusion.
This year, RGU is supporting the national theme, Honouring our Communities, by sharing stories from our staff, students, alumni and allies, highlighting the people and experiences that help shape our community.

Race Equality Action Group
The Race Equality Action Group supports RGU's work towards creating a more inclusive and equitable university community. The group helps drive initiatives linked to race equality and contributes to the University's Race Equality Charter work.
