Know a young artist who would love to join in? Gray's School of Art is delighted to offer 4 day Young Artist Workshops this summer, catering for 5-16 years.
Our EXTRA Young Artist workshop this summer for 11-16 year olds will be delivered over 4 days. Young Artists will be given their own dynamic twist on the days creative task.
These exciting new workshops will cover the following themes:
Young Artists will be supported by two experienced professional Gray's School of Art members of staff. Two individual and one group project will be created each day!
We have designed these workshops so that Young Artists and parents can both attend a 4 Day School at the same time if they wish. To help with this Young Artists can be dropped off prior to class from 9:30am and picked up at 4:30pm - please notify us by email if you require this to be arranged.
Refreshments: Lunch, morning and afternoon snack are provided.

Please note: these classes take place in the Sir Ian Wood Building, (not the Gray's School of Art Building). Parents/guardians of young artists must be present initially in order to complete our health and safety induction documents. Classes run 10am to 4pm. Parents can drop Young Artists off at 9:45am and collect them at 4:15pm.

Please dress in clothes you can get messy in. We recommend you bring a light snack and drink.
We'll provide all the materials required.
Parents/guardians of young artists must be present initially in order to complete our health and safety induction documents.
Young Artists are taught by specialist staff who will offer practical advice and instruction together with personal encouragement in discovering individual creative skills.
Young Artists will receive general instruction and one-to-one tuition tailored to suit their personal level of experience and ability.
This course is not formally assessed.
Students are encouraged to inform us at the time of enrolment of information relating to a disability, medical condition or specific learning difficulty.
The Disability & Dyslexia Centre advises and supports students who disclose a sensory or mobility impairment, chronic medical condition, mental health issue, dyslexia and other specific learning differences. Applicants with profound physical or sensory disabilities are encouraged to arrange a pre-entry visit to discuss any concerns and to view the facilities.
The Study Support Team provides training and support to all students in academic writing, study skills, maths and statistics, English language and information technology.
Course fee: £405
A refund is only applicable where there has been illness with a medical certificate to support it.

Gray's Art Shop
Located within the Gray’s building, the Art Shop stocks a wide range of specialist materials, papers and equipment for all kinds of creative ventures. Open to all, both student and non-student, with very competitive prices, the staff are on hand and happy to help. Open between 9am-3.30pm Monday to Friday and a selection of dates over each semester to accommodate the Short Course students.
Staff appreciate many Short Course students are busy through the day, so they are happy to take phone orders that can be collected from reception at a later/more convenient time for students.
For new intakes course fees are reviewed and published annually for each mode of delivery. Tuition fees are fixed for the duration of a course at the rate confirmed in the offer letter. For further information see:
