Studying at University is an exciting and rewarding experience. For some it also brings changes which might at times be difficult and stressful. The Student Counselling & Wellbeing Centre has Counsellors and a Student Wellbeing Advisor who can talk over issues that may be concerning you.
CampusMoodle is RGU’s virtual learning environment (VLE). It is a valuable resource both on and off campus that you can access from any computer as long as there is an internet connection.
Employability and Professional Enrichment Hub
We have a dedicated Employability and Professional Enrichment Hub designed to support your individual career planning, job search and employability needs.
There are food outlets in all of the main buildings on the Garthdee Campus, each offering something slightly different.
Disability & Dyslexia
The dedicated team at the Disability & Dyslexia Centre are on hand to provide you with information and advice to support you through your time at RGU.
Georgina Scott Sutherland Learning Centre
Located in the heart of the University Campus, the Georgina Scott Sutherland Learning Centre is Robert Gordon University’s newest open study space.
Graphics & Printing Facilities
The Gatehouse, the University's design and print consultancy, provides all design and print related functions to academic and support departments as well as student and commercial enterprise.
There are approximately 2,500 IT workstations that serve a user population of around 9,000 full time students and 1,500 members of staff.
It is important to register with a doctor (GP) as soon as you arrive in Aberdeen.
Our chaplaincy service is available for people of all faiths and none.
RGU SPORT is our outstanding sporting facility you will have access to on campus. As well as a swimming pool, climbing wall and three gyms, there are a range of classes on offer for all fitness levels.
Student Help Point
From travel to tuition fees, accommodation to application forms and finance to free time, the Student Help Point can help whether you are on campus or online.
Working in partnership with RGU:Union, the Student Life Department is on hand to provide you with advice, support and assistance if you’re managing various responsibilities of academic life, pregnancy and parenthood.

The Study Support team provide free and confidential support in a variety of study skills, ensuring you are able to fulfil your academic potential and become confident, independent learners.
Based at the Garthdee Campus, the Treehouse Early Care Centre is purpose-built facility that provides high quality care and education for children ranging from 3 months to 5 years.
Located at the heart of the campus, you can’t miss the striking green glass Library tower. There are four floors of books and journals and over 250 workstations for you to make use of.
