Electronic Teaching Laboratory

The Electronic Laboratory can be found in the Sir Ian Wood Building and is mainly used to teach Engineering students about analogue and digital circuits.

The workspace contains PC workstations equipped with the latest circuit simulation and instrument control software, along with software to develop complex programmable digital systems using Field Programmable Gate arrays.

Each workstation also includes a 4-channel digital oscilloscope, function generator, and digital multimeter to allow testing and measurement of the circuits you construct.

All of the equipment available to you will help to facilitate the practice-based skills required for professional roles.
