We recognise the importance of remaining active and looking after your wellbeing throughout this lockdown period. Therefore we have launched a range of initiatives, challenges and resources to support you to look after your physical and mental wellbeing whilst staying at home.

Stay Active at Home

Exercise and Physical activity are essential for both physical and mental wellbeing especially throughout this unpredictable time.

ONLINE GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES

Take advantage of the opportunity to work out with others by joining our online fitness community. With 12 live online classes available each week, there will be something for you to enjoy. Our knowledgeable instructors welcome all levels of ability so why not take this opportunity to try out something new from the comfort of your own home.

Classes are free for students and members. Non-members can also gain unlimited access from now until 28 February for just £32 with our RGU SPORT Online membership.

ONLINE PERSONAL TRAINING

To keep you motivated to continue to reach your exercise goals our personal training providers The Fit Room are continuing to provide personal training services remotely. For more information on virtual consultations and online sessions please contact a trainer: 

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY CHALLENGE

Each month RGU SPORT will be launching a new physical activity challenge, using Strava to encourage you to get outdoors and enjoy the fresh air. Each week we will share our top tips, mini interactive challenges and supporting resources to keep you motivated for the entire month. Whether you are just starting to walk or jog regularly or are a keen cyclist everyone has their part to play.

EXERCISE FOR YOUR MENTAL WELLBEING
