A Lossiemouth computing student has picked up a class prize for her outstanding academic performance at university.
Rebekah Hughes (20), who is studying Multimedia Development at Robert Gordon University (RGU) in Aberdeen, was presented with the fourth year class prize at the School of Computing Science and Digital Media’s annual prize giving ceremony last week.
The former Lossiemouth High School pupil, who completed the first two years of the degree at Moray College, said: “I was delighted to win the prize. I found the course to be fun and challenging as there were new skills to learn alongside the coursework.
“I enjoyed the Architectural 3D Graphics module as I have not done much on the subject and it was great to learn how to use the 3D programs to create a building. It was great team project even though it was tough.”
Rebekah added: “I wanted to expand my knowledge on multimedia and people I had spoken to said they had a great time at RGU which is why I choose to continue my studies there.”
