SUBC Engineering Ltd have been announced as official sponsors of the RGU “Best of British” fashion show, which will take place on Friday 25 May 2012 at Aberdeen Business School.
The annual fashion show, which is managed by third year Fashion Management students, is fast becoming a key event in Aberdeen’s fashion event calendar. The show provides a night of fashion and entertainment, with all profits being donated to The ARCHIE Foundation, the official charity of the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, the Children's Wards in Inverness and Elgin and Community based Child Health throughout Grampian, Highland, Orkney and Shetland. SUBC Engineering Ltd, which provides top quality subsea engineering personnel, will provide the students with £1000 towards promotional material and event costs allowing more profits to be donated to The ARCHIE Foundation.
Justina Setkute SUBC Engineering Ltd’s Marketing Manager said: “It’s very important to bring local communities together to work for the greater good. It’s fantastic to see students raising money for such a worthy cause”.
On the evening, guests will be greeted with fantastic pre-show entertainment, live music, British delicacies including fish & chips and a chance to shop until you drop in the bustling indoor market. Over 400 spectators will then be wowed by a catwalk fashion show with over 25 models and given a sneak peek at the latest British inspired fashions, courtesy of the Aberdeen’s Bon Accord and St Nicholas centres.
The show, which is open to the public, will take place in the Aberdeen Business School atrium at Robert Gordon University’s Garthdee campus, 25th May 2012.
