A Postgraduate and Part-time Open Evening is to take place at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, from 5 - 7.30pm on Thursday 27 August.
Members of the public are invited to take advantage of this informal drop-in session to find out more about what the University has to offer and how straightforward it can be to continue or return to learning, boost career prospects or find success in a new field. The event will take place at the University's Faculty of Health and Social Care Building, Garthdee Road, Aberdeen, and each of RGU's three faculties will be represented.
From computing, engineering and life sciences to business, surveying, law, social work, art and design and nursing, the University has something to offer everyone.
Members of staff will be on hand to discuss courses, chat about finance, careers, services and facilities and answer questions on how to apply. Departments will also be open for visitors to take advantage of short tours, available on request.
Kate Blake, the University's Marketing Manager, explained: "The Open Evening will be useful for anyone interested in further study, from experienced professionals who would like to gain a new qualification, to recent graduates wishing to develop their career, and anyone who is considering part-time study."
The evening will also give members of the public an insight into the financial incentives available to them. Individuals may to surprised to discover how affordable returning to study can be.
