COVID-19: ADVICE FOR STaff, STUDENTS AND COMMUNITY

#RGUTogether – helping celebrate the RGU community

RGUTogether
Laura Pollock, ResLife Coordinator, writes about a new campaign to celebrate the RGU community and how we can support each other.

One of RGU’s most treasured assets takes the form of its community. Whether we are current students, alumni or staff, the RGU community strives to celebrate our successes and support us through the challenges we may encounter.

As a university family, we are currently in the midst of one of the biggest challenges many of us will ever face. It feels like life has changed overnight, our daily routines have been disrupted and everything seems new and different but there is one thing that remains as a constant.

As a part of the RGU community, we don’t have to face it alone. The Student Help Point and ResLife teams have created #RGUTogether, with the aim of creating space where we can celebrate the amazing efforts of our RGU family members; the selfless acts of kindness; the community spirit; and the dedication to supporting those in need.

We want to hear about all the outstanding work being carried out by members of the RGU community to support those in need!

We are asking everyone to get involved and show that we are #RGUTogether by - Displaying the logo in your window to show your support; and by letting us know about the amazing things members of our community are doing so we can share across our web and social platforms.

We would like to encourage our community to share stories themselves using #RGUtogether on social media or by emailing helppoint@rgu.ac.uk with details.
