Workshops for Teachers

The facilities and resources that we hold at the University can be of great benefit to secondary school teachers, and for this reason we hold a number of workshops and sessions for teachers.

For example, we can offer a workshop which covers some recent developments in the world of Computing, or host brainstorming sessions for Advanced Higher Project ideas. It may be that we are able to give you the opportunity to participate in lab work which is impossible to undertake at school for Health and Safety reasons.

If you would like to suggest a workshop, which you feel would be of use to you and your colleagues across the region, then email the Education Liaison Team or telephone 01224 262044.

Annual Events for Careers Advisers and Guidance Staff

Annually the Education Liaison Team runs on-campus events for advisers from schools, FE colleges and Skills Development Scotland. These events are designed to provide up-to-date information about the University, including faculty updates, changes to courses and the application process. It also provides advisors with the opportunity to experience the University and its facilities first hand.

“Robert Gordon University is involved in a variety of ways with the Academy. The thing that helps that along is the Schools Liaison Officers.”
