Stressercise week aims to promote physical activity, reduce stigma and raise awareness of mental health. Members of the RGU Mental Health Campaign Committee will be out on campus throughtout the week organising a range of events.
Monday- 12pm at University Street (RGU: SPORT)
RGU are pledging to see me - Scotland’s national campaign to end the stigma and discrimination of mental ill-health - that we are tackling stigma surrounding mental health within the university community. At the pledge signing an RGU student will speak about their experience, President of Sport and Physical Activity Nicola Scott will give an insight into the ongoing campaign in and around campus and see me will talk about their campaign.
The signing will be following by and opportunity to get active! There will be sports (table tennis, badminton, basketball) available in the Sports Hall, RGU: SPORT from 1-3pm. Entry is FREE for staff and students
Tuesday- 12.30pm Yoga, RGU: SPORT, members FREE, non members £4.80
Wednesday- 12pm Campus Walk, leaving from RGU: SPORT, FREE
Thursday- 9.15am Pilates, RGU: SPORT, members FREE, non members £4.80
Friday- 12pm Campus Walk, leaving from RGU: SPORT, FREE
