A Day in the life of an Occupational Therapist

Thinking about a career in health and social care? Occupational therapists help people to help themselves. We support people to do the things they want and have to do, to overcome challenges, such as completing everyday tasks or activities. Come and find out about this rewarding profession at our ‘Day in the Life of OT’ event. Clinicians will be available to chat to about the career and there will be hands on workshops. Lecturers from Robert Gordon University will also be available to speak about the Master of Occupational Therapy course at Robert Gordon University.

This event aims to:

• Provide an understanding of what Occupational Therapists do in their daily work
• Explore the key skills involved in being an Occupational Therapist
• Highlight the diversity of areas Occupational Therapists can work in
• Look at what is involved in the degree course

This event is open from 12:00 – 18:00 and you are welcome to come along at any time that suits you.
