Older people: Sightloss Early Detection and Action Workshop
Approximately two million people in the UK have significant sight loss. People are living longer and need support to live with sight loss. This workshop aims to raise awareness to support the identification of older people with sight loss and integration of services.

Why is it important?

Early detection of sight loss can:

  1. Prevent misdiagnosis of dementia
  2. Decrease social isolation and confusion
  3. Decrease the likelihood of trips and falls
  4. Increase quality of life
