Richard is an alumni of RGU who graduated with a Diploma of Higher Education in Nursing (Children’s) in 1998. His nursing career has seen him work in Aberdeen, Manchester and across Australia. Richard has a clinical interest in paediatric oncology and respiratory. He has had a variety of clinical roles including as a research nurse working on 2 asthma studies and a respiratory clinical nurse specialist.
Richard teaches on a variety of both undergraduate and post graduate modules with a particular focus on the science based modules.
Richard is currently the school lead for interprofessional learning and plays an active role in developing and delivering the undergraduate IPL program across all stages.
