Duties and Responsibilities
John Karlberg is a Lecturer in Law and is Module Co-ordinator for the following modules in the LLB Law and LLM/Masters Oil and Gas Law:
- Undergraduate: UK Oil and Gas Law (BS4114)
- Postgraduate: Renewable Energy Issues (BSM109); Oil and Gas Law (BSM083)
He also undertakes both undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations in topics related to the above.
John has an Economics/Modern History honours degree from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland and a postgraduate MSc in Environmental Science from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. He joined the Robert Gordon University in 2008 after working overseas in a wide range of managerial positions.
John's main research interests are Renewable Energy Issues, Environmental Aspects of the Oil and Gas Industry, Evolving Issues in Oil and Gas Law, the fiscal and contractual regimes in the global oil and gas industry, and the Libyan Hydrocarbon Sector.
