Role and Responsibilities

David Gray is Professor of Transport Policy. Specialising in rural transport policy and transport policy in Scotland, Professor Gray was seconded to the Scottish Executive to assist Ministers in the preparation of the National Transport Strategy. Notable reports include 'Car Dependence in Rural Scotland' (with Professor John Farrington) for the Scottish Executive, and 'Rural Transport: an overview of key issues for The Commission for Integrated Transport'.
